If you've logged in the Facebook app recently then you'll be fully aware of the changes they've made as they're pretty clear to see the moment you log in. At the bottom of the app one of the main options is shopping. When you click this, you'll find a number of products for sale in your local area.
It's a nice touch and it means you can now search for products you'd like, and it means Facebook have taken shopping one step further, allowing them to compete with the likes of eBay and Gumtree among other sites. It's a big change by the social media giants and it gives us an indication of where they'd like to be in the future, but it also shows how important this app could be in our daily lives for the long-term future.
